Drunk driving with her children, her story of recovery and forgiveness. Amy Baumgardner. Amy is an amazing woman and a recovered alcoholic who is sharing with us a very personal story. Four years ago, Amy decided to drive drunk with her 5 and 7 year old children. She had a car accident which threatened the life of her youngest child. The accident was a huge turning point for her, eventually leading her to meet Oprah Winfrey and Iyanla Vanzant on the Oprah Lifeclass show. She’s here with us on Kirsty TV because she knows that other mother’s are out there who are dealing with alcoholism, healing and forgiveness.
